Quick answers

Questions, answered quickly.

The practical stuff buyers want answered before checkout.

Nine answers, from real charge and phone fit to warmth, controls, and travel.

What comes in the box?

SolidSafe Air 5K and a USB-C charging cable.

Is 5,000mAh enough for daily carry?

Yes. Air 5K is the daily top-up version: enough backup power for the phone-first day while staying thin enough to carry without thinking about it.

Can I fly with SolidSafe Air 5K?

Yes. At 19.25Wh, SolidSafe Air 5K is below the 100Wh carry-on battery limit. Carry power banks in your carry-on, not checked luggage, and always follow your airline rules.

How is Air 5K different from the regular SolidSafe 5K?

Air 5K is the ultra-thin, pocket-first version. It trades the LCD display and built-in lanyard cable for a 6.8mm titanium form factor with LED dot indicators and a single USB-C port.

What does semi-solid-state mean here?

It means the cell uses significantly less liquid electrolyte than a conventional lithium-ion design. That helps reduce battery risk while keeping the power bank compact enough for daily use.

What devices can it charge?

It charges MagSafe-compatible iPhones, Qi2-compatible phones, USB-C phones, earbuds, cameras, and other small USB-C devices. Wireless charging reaches up to 15W where supported, and USB-C output reaches up to 20W.

Can it charge two devices at once?

Yes. SolidSafe Air 5K can charge one device wirelessly and one device through USB-C at the same time. If one device is already charging and you connect a second, press the power button once to activate the additional output.

Can I recharge Air 5K from my laptop's USB-C port?

Recharge it from a USB wall charger or a USB-A port with the included cable; it refills at up to 15W. It won't reliably recharge from a laptop's USB-C port. That port and the Air's USB-C are both two-way, so they can't agree on which one charges the other, and the lights stay lit without cycling. This isn't a defect. Use a wall charger instead.

I hear a faint buzzing or high-pitched sound when it's charging. Is that normal?

Yes. That's the charging coil at work. The components that move power quickly can give off a faint hum, wired or wireless. It's easiest to hear when the battery is low (the coil works harder), when the room is quiet, or because the Air is thin enough that there's less material between the coil and your ears. It fades as charging finishes and doesn't affect charging speed, battery health, or safety.

Why does the Air 5K get warm while charging?

That warmth is the titanium shell doing its job. Charging always creates some heat, and wireless charging a bit more than a cable. Rather than trapping that heat inside, the metal body carries it to the surface and lets it disperse, which is exactly why you feel it in your hand. It's most noticeable when charging wirelessly or topping up a large phone. Warm is normal. But if it ever gets too hot to hold comfortably, stop using it, unplug it, and let it cool, then contact our support team so we can help, it's covered by the 2-year warranty.
